PDF Magic (pdfmagic.live) is a free online tool that converts images to PDF files. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

2. Your Files — Offline Conversion

When you use the JPG to PDF converter, all processing happens entirely inside your browser using local technology (WebAssembly). Your images and the resulting PDF are never sent to our servers. We have no access to your files, and nothing is stored.

3. Shareable Links (Optional Cloud Upload)

PDF Magic offers an optional feature to generate a shareable link for your converted PDF. If you choose to use this feature:

• Your PDF is uploaded to our secure cloud storage.
• A unique link is generated that anyone can use to download your PDF.
• The file and the link are automatically and permanently deleted after 1 hour.
• We do not read, analyse, or keep a copy of your file after deletion.

This feature is entirely optional. If you do not use it, your files never leave your device.

4. Account Information (Optional Sign-In)

PDF Magic does not require an account. If you choose to sign in using Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google as part of the sign-in process. This information is stored securely to manage your account. We do not share it with third parties.

5. Analytics & Usage Data

We use the following tools to understand how our site is used:

• Vercel Analytics — collects anonymous page view data (no personal identifiers).
• Microsoft Clarity — records anonymised session behaviour (clicks, scrolls) to help us improve the interface. No file content is captured.

Neither tool has access to the files you convert.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in if you choose to use Google Sign-In. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

7. Data Security

Files uploaded via the optional shareable link feature are stored with encryption in transit (HTTPS). They are automatically purged from our systems after 1 hour. We take reasonable technical measures to protect any data we hold.

8. Children's Privacy

PDF Magic is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of PDF Magic after changes means you accept the updated policy.
